Contracts Manager for a tier 1 fit out contractor!

My Client is an experienced tier 1 fit out sub-contractor, who specialises in CAT A and CAT B fast track commercial fit out projects, with the projects that they manage being valued at between £2 to £25million each. These projects are conveniently located in London Zones 1 to 4, they work closely with well-known main contractors on fantastic projects, for prestigious clients. They turnover more than £100m per annum. Their head office is strategically located in Canary Wharf.

The role - Contracts Manager

Duties:

·Managing a team of a Senior Site Manager/Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor and a Design Manager

·Being the main point of contact to clients

  • Ensuring that all work methods are appropriate to meet the needs of the project
  • Managing multiple fast track commercial fit out projects at a time (£2-£25m per project)

·Working both in the office and on-site

·To take responsibility and lead the team

·Being hands-on when on site

·Winning business for the company

·Ensuring that projects are completed on time and in budget

Requirements:

·Demonstrate a solid track record of overseeing and delivering multiple profitable commercial projects simultaneously

  • Past experience working as part of an M&E sub-contractor to a main contractor

·Has worked on commercial fit out projects for a sub-contractor

·Ability to win new business for the company

  • Ability to manage a team by having excellent communication skills, which includes client facing communication skills

·Ability to take responsibility by being proactive and accountable

  • Pays great attention to details and being able to solve ad-hoc problems

·Ability to travel to multiple locations within zones 1-4 in London

·Great with time-keeping

·£80k - £90k on basic PA (negotiable based on experience)
