£9,270 - £10,141 (10 Hours per week)
Out of Hours, Beechgrove House, Perth

The position of Social Worker (OOHS) is within a busy generic front line team which covers the whole of Perth and Kinross Council outwith normal working hours from our base in Perth. The post requires you to often respond to requests for social work services from people who are in crisis.

The Individual

You will be a qualified social worker with significant post qualifying experience in both adults and children's services.
You will be well organised and able to work under pressure.
You will be able to demonstrate a high level of competence in dealing with crisis situations and have a high level of ability in working with both vulnerable adults and children.
Excellent understanding of both adult and children's legislation is required along with the ability to produce clear assessments and plans as well as written records.
In addition you will be able to work unsocial hours including evenings, weekends and on call through out the night.
