We are committed to continuing to raise standards of achievement in Maths. In 2015 we achieved our best ever results. As a department, we work together to improve these results even further, with the sharing of resources and cross team support being a real strength of the team.
Curriculum development is on-going, we have developed a new scheme of learning aimed at staged teaching across the GCSE specification and have, and still continue to, develop a set of resources to support that teaching. We have recently been successful in our application to the Mathematics Mastery program, which will begin with Year 7 in September 2017.
We have high expectations of our students and strive to achieve the highest possible standards, celebrating success wherever possible.
