Project manager - Residential
My client is a house builder who produce homes for private house builders, local authorities and registered providers.
They are scheduled to start a number of further new build sites in the North East, and these schemes have been secured on the back of an excellent reputation for delivery of high quality social housing product.
This specific position will begin managing a brand new affordable/social housing development in the North East, consisting of over 45 new homes.
We are looking for an experienced Project manager with previous work experience on new build social housing (or private residential) projects.
In addition, my client are looking for someone who is confident in taking projects from start through to completion, and someone who is dynamic and keen to grow with the company.
The salary is £45,000 - £50,000 plus car allowance for the successful candidate.
We are looking for an experienced, capable and confident candidate with a current SMSTS and First Aid Certificate as a minimum, and someone who has a demonstrable record in delivering new build housing projects. The ideal candidate will also hold a CSCS card (black or platinum), scaffold inspection and an NVQ5 or similar (HNC etc.).

* New build residential / social housing experience is essential for the role
* Ability to motivate and support staff
* Ability to liaise with internal and external personnel / contractors
* Meeting deadlines
* Attention to detail and knowledge of Health & Safety legislation
* Able to embrace training

CSCS Card at Site Manager Level
Valid SMSTS certificate
Valid First Aid at Work certificate
