I am currently working with a highly successful sixth form in Birmingham to recruit for a Curriculum Lead for Maths. This is a permanent teaching opportunity to start in September 2017. If you have QTS, Maths teaching experience and experience leading the subject across KS3 to KS5, and are looking for a permanent teaching job in Birmingham, then we would like to hear from you.

This sixth form has had the highest A-level pass rate of all colleges in Birmingham and Solihull for the past two years. Your new job
In your new secondary Curriculum Lead for Maths teaching job, you'll be required to teach the current Maths curriculum across the school. The school are seeking to appoint an inspirational Curriculum Leader to take full responsibility for the leadership of the Mathematics curriculum. The post holder will be expected to develop a team culture that fosters collaborative working between all teaching staff in the subject, ensuring a focused commitment to the delivery of a high quality learning experience, with excellent examination results for all students. This role will also involve a reduced teaching load, therefore you must also be a well-qualified, committed and an inspirational teacher to teach Mathematics up to A Level. The role is offered as a permanent post. The role is full time, Monday to Friday and extra participation in the life of the school is expected. Due to the nature of the role it is offered as a paid to scale post with a TLR. All applications are to be dealt with by Hays Education and visits to the school can be arranged and are encouraged.
The ideal candidate for this long-term secondary Curriculum Lead for Maths teaching job will hold UK QTS. It's important that candidates also have recent experience as a secondary Curriculum Lead for Maths and have strong knowledge of the current Maths curriculum.
