We are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Teacher of Science to join a successful and driven faculty. The successful candidates will have the capacity to raise attainment through motivating, inspiring and challenging students and will contribute to a culture of high expectations and innovation within the school. You must have excellent communication skills, tremendous drive and great enthusiasm for teaching and learning and work well as part of a team.
A successful candidate should have the ability to teach the three sciences across KS3 and KS4 and can expect a supportive department that is well resourced. There may also be the requirement to teach some KS3 STEM classes as well. This is an exciting new curriculum, which has been developed by the Science and Technology department and involves project based learning. There are clear schemes of learning and assessments in place, followed up with in department training to support the delivery of this curriculum.
