A hands on and proactive conference and events sales position responsible for the performance of the conference and events and the growth of C&E business at a well known rugby club.
The role will encompass developing beneficial and productive relationships with new C&E clients, from local corporates, venue Agencies, third parties and Associations.
The Sales Manager will play a key role in the development and production of Harlequins sales and marketing materials to promote conference and events.The Sales Manager will have the full responsibility for the delivery of C&E sales budget. Developing business from existing customers with the support of robust account plans. As Sales Manager it is important to understand, research and implement plans to deliver new business from new market segments. In conjunction with this the management of the C&E brand and marketing activities including website content and usability is integral to the role.
Candidate should be educated to at least 'A' level standard and will preferably be a graduate. A post graduate qualification in event management or hospitality would be highly valued.
You will need to have sales and marketing experience within the UK conference and event industry with a proven track record of meeting sales targets Personal circumstances must allow the candidate to work extended hours on occasion during times of peak activity.Must live within commuting distance of the stadium based in Twickenham.
This is a permanent full time position working as a Sales Manager based in Twickenham.
Salary is dependant on experience, the role is paying up to £35,000.
