Sales Executive needed for our client, a leading women's footwear wholesaler, supplying women's footwear to both high street chains and leading online retailers from the UK, EU and globally for over 25 years.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Executive to join their B2B sales team in their Manchester city centre office and showroom. You will be responsible for managing multiple accounts and generating new business by chasing both hot and cold leads with a bulk of communication done via email.

The Role:

  • Responsible for developing new business with both hot and cold leads,
  • Building relationships with new and existing clients, keeping in regular contact with up to date news on upcoming products, bestsellers and any offers we are running
  • Occasionally visiting existing or new clients as well as developing new customers within the UK, EU and worldwide
  • Inviting clients to the head office / showroom for face to face meetings
  • Undertaking sales campaigns, involving negotiating sales and confirming orders - mostly achieved via email
  • Gaining an understanding of our range of products and the margins and costs we work with
  • Analysing and reporting on key performance indicators e.g. seasonal best sellers, rising trends etc
  • Maintaining key relationships with the wholesale team, clients, suppliers, logistics, warehouse and accounts
  • Updating the online catalogue with new products


The Candidate:

  • Experience within B2B sales is desirable
  • Ability to close and negotiate B2B deals, and developing accounts with new customers
  • Computer literate, ability to use Microsoft apps such as Excel and Outlook
  • Strong interpersonal skills and commercial acumen
  • Excellent verbal, organisational and written communication skills
  • Self motivated, able to work on initiative as well as within a team
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines within a fast paced, changing environment.
  • Self-driven and confident


Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30, Permanent, Immediate start

Starting salary is £18k with the opportunity for quick progression, this is a growing industry and there is a lot of scope for growth.

There is free parking onsite, and the office is a short walking distance from Victoria train station.
