The job in a nutshell

This role is critical at CarShop because all the vehicles sold in stores have come through our busy, state-of-the-art preparation centre in Leighton Buzzard. CarShop Leighton Buzzard prepared over 44,000 cars in 2016 which contributed to our significant success.

Your role is to repair, paint and maintain a wide variety of vehicles ensuring prepping and quality checks are completed to an extremely high standard. You will be able to produce the quality of finish required for our customers.

What you will be doing

  • Ensure cavities and dents in Vehicles are filled to ensure an even surface
  • Prepare Vehicles effectively to maximise the quality and finish of work
  • Ensure the correct paint (colour and consistency) is administered and completing full wash and polish of each vehicle
  • Repair a wide range of issues; cigarette burns, phone holes and glass repair
  • Regularly clean and maintain equipment, maintaining a safe and productive work environment
  • Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed accurately and on time

What we expect from you

  • Experienced in a similar role
  • Relevant qualification / education as a Panel Beater
  • Essential to hold a full UK/EU Driving License
  • Ability to communicate with a diverse work group
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • You will have your own tools
