Working within this growing SME business you will be working within a small team that supports the Financial Controller with all aspects of the finance function from Ledger work through to Management Accounts.

About The Role 

The role will be critical in the day to day running of the business, running all of the accounts function with a wide variety of responsibilities.

Duties will include:

  • Month end accounts – liaising across the business
  • Monthly Management Reporting packs
  • Assistance with the cash flow management
  • Develop and implement internal controls
  • Process the Purchase Ledger entries
  • Liaise with external auditors
  • Supporting any area of the finance function as needed

About You 

We are looking for an individual that has experience of working within an SME environment, has a ‘can do’ attitude and is willing to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in to what is needed to be done.

Your experience will be from an all-round accounting environment, bookkeeping or small company accounting experience covering all aspects of the finance function from ledgers through to management accounts.

You will have strong systems skills, including Excel to Pivot Table and Lookup level as a minimum, if you have Macros it would be seen favourably. Use of Xero/ Sage and other small to mid-sized accounting systems would be essential for this role.
