Framework Manager - Water Industry - Exciting new AMP6 Framework - Walsall / Flexible Location - £50,000 - £55,000 Annual Salary DOE + Company Car or Car Allowance + Up to 6% Matched Contributory Pension + 33 Days Holiday

Cordant are currently recruiting for a highly successful and rapidly growing company within the water industry. They provide a specialist service in all aspects of water care, analysis, treatment and associated equipment maintenance. The company has won an exciting new AMP6 contract with Affinity Water making this a very exciting time to join the business.




Role Outline

We are now seeking a Framework Manager to help shape, develop and successfully deliver the Affinity Water contract which will be worth £3m per year.

As Framework Manager, you will be responsible for the following aspects of delivery to Affinity Water:

  • Provision of diagnostic testing and performance analysis of pumps
  • Supply and installation of pumps
  • Mechanical framework (pumping stations and pumping infrastructure)

Individual projects range from £50k to £100k for smaller refurbishments ranging to £200k to £500k for major projects.

Acting as the frontman for the client in all elements from early engagement, identifying need, proposal management, KPI's and reporting to client and internally, collaboration, drive H&S culture throughout the team and manager the delivery of projects via the Contracts Manager.

The region covers Hertfordshire, NW London and extends the boundaries of Thames Water and Essex and Suffolk Water.


Responsibilities

  • Take accountability for developing and entrenching H&S culture
  • Full financial control and responsibility for the P&L
  • KPI reporting - financial, compliance, forecast accuracy, timescales, invoicing, HSE, relationship management
  • Responsible for local supply chain and subcontracting
  • Identify needs and ensuring resources are aligned to meet them
  • Managing feasibility to find the best solution for the client and able to prove outcomes



Requirements

  • Hold a HNC (or higher) in an Electrical or Mechanical discipline
  • Experience working for a contractor in the water industry is highly desirable, although experience of managing complex projects in other industries would be considered (i.e. public sector, gas, electricity, rail, etc)
  • Good working knowledge of NEC contracts
  • Prior P&L accountability up to £5m
  • Have a proven track record of managing successful contracts
  • Commercial expertise is key to this position to successfully quote and win bids again competing contractors.
  • QS background is desirable / have a good understanding of pre-contracts and how contracts work and the ability to manage contracts



Salary & Package

  • £50,000 - £55,000 annual salary DOE
