Area Supply Planning Manager (Southampton)
Working hours: 35 hrs p/w
·To deliver the optimum Supply Network Plan (SNP) for the End Markets and Factories within the Area.
·To drive improvement in Supply Planning performance for the Area.
·To maintain and develop the Supply Network Planning Team for the Area ensuring there is a sustainable pipeline of talent
·Responsible for creating and delivering the Supply Network Plan and associated requirements from factories to End-Markets /customers for the Area
·To cascade and enforce planning governance across planning teams and relevant stakeholders
·Drive On time delivery and supply of Finished Goods (Cigarettes & Other Tobacco Products) to achieve volume and profit targets for the End Markets/customers within the area by identifying and analyse capacity issues and develop proposal for Local Supply & Inventory meeting as well as consolidating and providing Supply Network Plan input (OOS risk, exceptional costs) to weekly Customer Facing Team and (capacity constraints) related SOP forums ensuring all stakeholders are informed of any and proposed resolution for agreed following set standards and governance
·To ensure completeness and correctness for Master Data (APO SNP & ECC)
·Ensure the Supply Network Plan is in line with approvedStock Holding Policy and stock build as per governance and drive inventory performance and optimized working capital to reduce overall Supply Chain cost for the area
·Lead personnel in function, providing clearly defined objectives ensuring alignment with strategic aims and targets, robust development plans, create a coaching culture across the team ensuring appropriate skills are in place across the function
·Drive the continued improvement in Supply planning performance and its interaction with the broader business
·Ensure all processes, procedures and systems functionality adhere to the approved Operating model as defined by Design Reference Group
·To write, perform and validate test script when required as well as raise change request and perform impact assessment as required
·To create and maintain technical documentation; provide training and coaching to End Users on process and system and support issue resolution
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
·Solid experience in Operations functions for FMCG
·It is preferable that the candidate speaks and writes Russian fluently
·Degree qualified in Economics or related discipline
·In depth knowledge/experience of Plan Processes, people and organisation; local and above markets, Systems: APO SNP, ECC, BI etc.
·Good understanding of following processes: New Product Introduction (NPI), product development, manufacturing operations, trademarks, legal regulations/health warnings /tax stamps, duty, excise and insurance implications, of product costing and transfer price models.
·Effective collaboration through a matrix structure – End market, SNO, Operations
·A demonstrated analytical ability
·Coordination and problem solving skills across multiple markets and multiple issues
·Excellent interpersonal, coaching and communication skills to motivate and influence.
·Strong cultural awareness
