Stores customer assistant
A temporary customer service role based in Gosport working for the MOD, DBS required.
Your new role
Provide a counter service for stores and tools to Instructors and Trainees ensuring continuous availability during required Issue Centre opening times. To assist with the issue and return of toolboxes, hand tools and stores, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed correctly. To provide effective control of consumable stores, materials and resources to ensure economy of use, minimum wastage and maintenance of stock levels. - Maintain the work area in a safe, clean and tidy condition, taking reasonable care of his/her own Health and Safety and that of others. Assist with the efficient day to day running of the Workshop Issue Centre. - To maintain records of issue, return, inspection and rectification of all PPE and provide data sheets
What you'll need to succeed
Good communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team. The ability to take instruction and provide a high level of customer service to colleagues and higher level management. To maintain records accurately and have a keen eye for attention to detail.

The position is Monday to Friday with the possibility of over time. The ideal candidate will be immediately available for work as this is a temporary position.
