ROLE: VP OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES SALES

LOCATION: Manchester City Centre

Salary: £70,000 - £100,000 DOE BASIC + BONUS

Our client is an already established and successful organisation that has a very clear vision and expansion strategy. The company works closely with businesses of all sizes to design, build and improve high performance cloud-based systems for critical business operations. Having spent time with the company’s Co-Founder and CEO we genuinely believe in this company and we can tell you that it is a brand that will continue to develop because they are truly invested in not just the operational aspect of the business but importantly in their employees. The goal of management is to provide a clear direction leading to growth whilst at the same time ensuring that every member of staff is provided with the necessary means, allowing them to perform to the best of their ability.

With services including software development, ecommerce package implementation, and cloud consultancy to name but a few, our client has worked with and for some of the country’s most recognisable brands and they now seek a Head of Professional Services to help the business provide high-quality services to their clients and end-users.

THE ROLE:

This role will report directly into the CEO of the company, with additional support from other executive level staff such as the Director of Product, the Chief Technology Officer and the Chief Financial Officer. Your role will be to oversee the Professional Services (PS) sales team, to develop strategies to help drive revenue producing activities.

THE CANDIDATE:

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Ensure that client product configuration is performed at a level that will ensure client success and increase the potential for future service expansion opportunities – thereby driving future revenue;
  • Lead the internal professional services team and provide suitable mentoring, training and support to existing junior sales team members as well as spot any training issues and requirements
  • Understand the client’s needs and ensure that configuration of the product platform meets the customer’s needs;
  • Support clients through their journey with PS and ensure that they become the focal point of any questions;
  • Craft and define the PS message tp ensure an accurate message is delivered to clients and potential clients;
  • Promote the services of the company in order to drive further future revenue;
  • Coordinate client engagement efforts and lead customer conversations informing them of product roadmaps;
  • Collate information regarding user requirements from various sources including customer feedback, internal teams and competitor research;
  • Engage with all stakeholder needs and ensure that they are project managed though the service, offering solutions, where necessary in order to guide them through the service;
  • Plan, schedule and coordinate activities related to professional services development projects;
  • Be responsible for managing the PS team and other internal teams regarding service delivery activities and technical deliverables;
  • To provide project management / programme management as well as team leadership and management from concept, through to requirements and design of product and then implementation;
  • Promote and support innovative tech solutions enabling speed to market and then realisation of revenue growth;
  • You will also have no less than 5 year’s PS sales experience, with excellent analytical skills, as well as verbal and written communication skills.
