Projects Manager/ Work Plan Coordinator/ Scheduler – Telecoms & Civils

Our client is a very fast growing business providing telecoms and civils services to the large utility sector companies. It is an exciting time for the business who have major long term contracts with the big telecoms organisations and their respective networks.

They are looking to appoint an experienced Telecoms Projects Planner/ Work Plan Coordinator who will be responsible for the planning and organising of resources for 2 and 3 man teams working on telecoms projects and related civil works. You spend approximately 70% of the time organising and scheduling of work and the associated resources, including the required man-power. The other part of the role is the surveying of the various locations and mapping out what is required to complete each job effectively, in line with budgets and timelines.

Responsibilities include:

Notice Management
Liaising closely with local councils and government agencies when raising and closing notices.
Stock control of BT equipment
Organising the staff for each project

Skills & Experience:

Must have the desired relevant scheduling and surveying experience within telecoms sector.
The associated civils experience would be highly beneficial.
Must have knowledge of PCPs, DSLAMs, Blockages, Traps, Cabling, etc
Must have man-mangement/ supervising and associated organising of staff and sub-contractor experience.
Must have NRSWA experience.
