Role: Management Accountant

Salary: £45000 - £50000 per annum + Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits

Location: Solihull

My client is specifically looking for a first time mover from one of the Big 4 Accountancy firms. You will be keen to make your first move from practice into the commercial arena within industry. You will have a keen eye for detail and be highly analytical.

As FP&A Management Accountant you will play an integral role in the ownership and development of the division’s management information reporting. The position will involve working closely between IMI’s HQ in Birmingham and the Global IMI Critical Engineering division.

Responsibilities:

    Preparation of key corporate reports including the monthly management accounts and forecasts for the Critical Engineering Executive TeamWorking closely with the finance teams across the globe to ensure that requirements are understood and delivered on time to exceptionally high standardsProduction of monthly management reports, quarterly outlook reports, annual budget and 5 year planInvolvement in group consolidations and financial reportingUnderstanding and validating data from across all business units globallyCreating meaningful reports to facilitate value adding decisions for managementPreparing business cases related to new business opportunitiesAd-hoc projects
The Person:

    The successful candidate must be a fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or overseas equivalent)You will be a first time mover having qualified from one of the Big 4 accountancy firmsThe successful candidate will be highly analytical, with a demonstrable track record of high achievement throughout their careerAll applicants should be results driven with a desire to work in a fast paced environment, which will lead to rewarding career opportunities
