Marketing Communications Executive - Construction

Our Client, a Top 10 Main Contractor are looking to recruit a Marketing & Communications Executive. Working as part of the group marketing and communications department, the marketing communications senior executive will play an important role in positioning the company brand and helping the business to generate high-quality leads to win work in the construction market.

The ideal candidate will relish the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, will have experience in the built environment, ideally in construction or engineering, and be adept at copywriting and business-to-business marketing execution.

Above all, they are looking for an incredibly positive person with a collaborative, can-do attitude, excellent writing skills, exceptional interpersonal skills and who will bring campaignable ideas and fresh thinking to the department.

Reporting to the marketing communications manager in the Manchester office, the role supports tactical marketing communications plans in the development of compelling, on-brand communications for both sector and UK Regional campaigns and events. The SME will be using and developing a range of skills across the marketing and communications mix and will be working closely with a broad range of brand, communications, marketing, digital, design and customer experience professionals. They will also work on strategic projects as part of the wider team.

Key Responsibilities:

·Coordinates and delivers activity against the annual integrated marketing communications strategy for sector and business units

·Conducts desktop market research and keeps on top of market developments, competitors and trends to inform usable and engaging content

·Extracts stories and coordinates communications across all channels for area of responsibility including: media relations, digital, site branding, awards, exhibitions and events

·Assists the marketing communications manager with the quality control of all processes and outputs relating to own projects including proof-reading, approvals, data-entry, analysis and event coordination

·Works independently to prioritise workload and tasks and agree priority projects and objectives with line managers and senior team members

·Works to positively promote the company brand, to build brand credibility and trust
