Telephone Counsellor
Permanent, 21 or 28 hours with various shifts available over a 24hrs/7 days a week rota

This role is a wonderful opportunity to really make a difference to people's lives.Due to continued expansion and demand for the service we have a number of opportunities available to join our busy EAP Telephone Counsellor team.
Working from our Salford Quays Contact Centre, you'll deliver the Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) to Bupa clients in accordance with Bupa policies and procedures.

The responsibilities include:

  • Answering Employee Assistance Programme calls
  • Assessing client's well-being needs, including their mental health and social support
  • Providing advice and support
  • Provide one-off counselling support and contracted telephone counselling
  • Adherence to professional standards and compliance with regulatory frameworks

The role requires specific qualifications, skills and experience including:

  • Recognised Counselling diploma qualification or higher
  • BACP/UKCP accreditation is desirable; working towards accreditation is essential
  • Rich and varied experience of Counselling different sectors of and clients in society
  • Newly qualified Counsellors will be considered
