The division expects ongoing sales and growth over the coming years and in order to ensure this growth occurs, there is a need within the business for a sales /projects consultant. The position is primarily for an office based sales consultant, to quote on current leads, follow up on opportunities quoted, quote and follow up on maintenance contracts, as well as support the operations teams in customer communication in regards projects won and project delivery.

Main duties include

  • Following up and quoting on all logged enquired, through web site and direct to sales email accounts, other divisions, and enquires received by any other methods.

  • Occasional site visits to survey, or customer meetings.

  • Account manage key existing customers that have provided ongoing business in the past, there include, construction companies, councils, architects, etc.

  • Creating sales opportunities (cold calling)

  • Liaison with install partners to coordinate site surveys if required for quotation purposes

  • Quote and follow up for maintenance contracts, for all sold products.

  • Customer communication, on projects won, including supporting the operations team on project delivery.

  • Work closely with the Marketing department to ensure that press releases and new business win stories are published on our website and new promotional and product related literature is compiled or updated.

  • Creation of standard and non-standard quotations

  • Calling customers who have received quotations to obtain status updates

  • Update Sales Force/order Pipeline Forecast to ensure that all sales leads and updates are captured for control and reporting purposes.

  • Provision of statistical reports where required

  • Answering telephone

  • Filing of all proposals in a organized manner

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (1/2 hour lunch) 09.00 - 17.00

Experience Required: Lead generation, good computer literacy, previous sales and/or telesales experience preferable, good written and verbal communication, reliable and innovative.

Skills Required: Pro-active self-starter with the ability to work on their own initiative. The individual must enjoy speaking to customers and be able to summarise their conversations. All rounder.
