Job Description

We are recruiting for a pro-active Marketing Communications Manager based Wolverhampton intially on a 12 month contract though v likely to go permanent who will identify, develop, execute and optimise the communication strategy, to both internal and external customers, ensuring all communications align with business objectives

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop external communications including; website news, PR, case studies, advertising, and awards. All communications to be consistent in tone of voice and brand positioning
  • Identify, create and execute product and service campaigns alongside the wider marketing team. Ensure our portfolio, it's positioning and commercials remain differentiated and ahead of the competition.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of current communications activity to ensure awareness and brand equity are grown
  • Drive effective partnerships with key stakeholders across the business
  • Optimise the value from our mobile (vehicle) assets ensuring their purpose and activity is recorded and promoted to customer and the internal network
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of customer segments to deliver actionable customer insights and ensure these are incorporated into the communication strategy
  • Identify and deliver marketing support for exhibitions on a variety of scale ensuring the businesses profile is presented effectively to customers and prospects
  • Work in close partnership with multiple agencies in the development of collateral
  • Drive, in collaboration with the HR team, the business' internal communication activity
  • Manage a small team of 3

Experience:

  • Experienced in managing direct reports
  • A track record of idea generation through development, launch and on-going management
  • Focused executor, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and stay focused on delivery
  • Creative and content driven experience from creation to implementation
  • Good attention to detail gained in a previous Marketing Communications environment
  • Proven stakeholder management and the ability to communicate well at all levels
  • Skilled influencer with demonstrated results in driving delivery in a cross functional environment
