TEACHING ASSISTANTS – CORE SUBJECTS | ‘OUTSTANDING’ EAST LONDON SCHOOL

My client secondary school in East London is looking for several Teaching Assistants / Learning Mentors to work in different departments across the school. These Teaching Assistants / Learning Mentor roles are all on a long-term basis, and there for exceptional candidates, there is the possibility of salaried School Direct places for the next academic year.

Do you have a 1st class or 2:1 degree in one of the following subjects – from a reputable university?

·English

·Maths

·Science – Chemistry, Biology or Physics

·History

·Geography

·Economics

·Computing

POSITION: Learning Mentors / Graduate Teaching Assistants

SCHOOL: Outstanding School – Excellent GCSE results – 73% A*-C

LOCATION: East London

TRANSPORT: Close to a tube station – Excellent bus service

PERSON: A Graduate (1st class or 2:1 degree) – Personable, confident

START DATE: September start

SALARY: £70 - £80 per day plus Healthcare Package

LEARNING MENTOR PERSON SPECIFICATION:

I am looking for talented 1st class or 2:1 graduates in English, Maths, Science, History, Geography, Economics and Computing to work on a long-term basis is one of the best schools in London. If you are an ideal candidate for this role, you will be keen to go the extra mile and not be put off by hard work. These Learning Mentor roles are high rewarding, and can lead to paid teacher training for exceptional candidates.

Your main responsibility as a Learning Mentor, will be to help the students flourish and achieve the best grades that they can. If you have outstanding subject knowledge, you will be required to work in the department that is most relevant to your degree. You will be working on a 1:1, small group or within a whole class environment. The main aim is to help the pupils achieve excellent exam results.
