Purchase/Sales Ledger Clerk

Based: Bolton

Salary: circa £19k dependent on experience

Our client is a large organisation based in Bolton looking to employ a strong Purchase/Sales Ledger Clerk to join their ever-expanding team. They are a global player in their industry and exceptionally well-known throughout the UK

We have been working with this client for a number of years, they provide excellent exposure to the finance team allowing you to develop your career/experiences, also offering fantastic opportunities for progression and the chance to receive training/mentoring from senior management

Role will involve:

  • Sales & Purchase Ledger processes (experience essential.)
  • Act as an escalation point for suppliers - involved in reconciliations
  • Maintaining accurate customer/supplier records compliant to company procedures
  • Processing Sales invoices and credit notes for all finance divisions
  • Supporting month end procedures - assisting with all reconciliations

Please note you MUST have previous experience with Purchase & Sales Ledger

You must be a strong multi-tasker who can manage multiple processes which working independently and also in a team. You must be used to working in a fast paced environment and be adaptable to fast changing processes
