Our client is looking for an ambitious, creative and passionate Marketing Manager who is currently in this level of role and has some management, to join their team. This exciting portfolio has a handful of national events and is one of the largest in their industry, including attendees, exhibitors, VIPs and Speakers. They are going through an exciting re-launch and the Marketing Manager, along with assistance from their Marketing Executive will create produce and deliver marketing campaigns, creating a buzz, to promote the shows.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering measurable marketing campaigns on time, within budget and to a consistently high quality whilst helping to achieve the strategic business objectives across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage campaign schedules, contributing to the benefit of the entire portfolio
  • Produce marketing communications collateral
  • Coordinate third party service providers including PR, media and agencies
  • Organise promotional activities and manage and maintain product websites
  • Monitor and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure highest levels of service are continuously delivered
  • Initiate and execute international media and association/key stakeholder partnerships
  • Supervise key accounts management input from marketing, sponsorship, new business and customer service
  • Close management of registration process
  • Creating a quantified number of leads for the sales team
  • Provide on-going campaign effectiveness reports and recommend on-going improvements
  • Remain up-to-date with latest communications tools, assess deployment to improve marketing effectiveness
  • Promote a culture of testing and change to continuously drive improvement
  • Manage a full time marketing executive plus event temps and freelancers.
  • Liaise with other offices to coordinate promotion and co-promotion of overseas events as required

Personal Skills

  • A proven track record of implementing successful campaigns for large scale B2B exhibitions and conferences
  • Demonstrable experience of man-managing large show/ project teams
  • Experience managing multiple temps and/or freelancers simultaneously on separate projects
  • Understanding of the registration process for major events including all elements of exhibitor customer service and onsite traffic and admission management
  • Proven use and understanding of complex databases and segmentation techniques
  • A rounded, thorough understanding of the full range of marketing communication tools
  • Excellent writing skills, project management, planning and organisational skills
  • Financial awareness, Research and Analysis
  • Brand creation and management
  • Presentation skills to high level business audiences
