Our Client is seeking a Legal Manger with 8 - 10 years Conveyancing fee earning experience along with experience of managing and mentoring others. They are a thriving Company that has recently grown into the top 30 in the UK in terms of volume and this is due to the fantastic team of people they have and their focus on Customer Excellence.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Lawyers and Conveyancing Executives.
  • Inspecting daily reports to ensure the team are progressing their caseload
  • Accountability for ensuring Lawyers meet targets (including exchanges and customer service)
  • Actively engaging and observing the team at all times, interjecting where appropriate and providing feedback in real time to achieve effective results
  • Carrying out monthly one-2-ones
  • First point of escalation and technical support for Lawyers
  • Assisting Legal Directors in development of internal processes and procedures as required
  • Responsibility for new starter’s initial inductions to all systems, areas and processes in order to carry out their roles.
  • Supervision of work to ensure that suitable knowledge and technical ability is show
  • Confident to use own judgement to identify and take alternative course of action without risk to the client or business

  • Confident to use own judgement to identify and take alternative course of action without risk to the client or business
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Coach and mentor others
