Salary: £22,000 - £35,000
This well-renowned construction company has capitalised on the buoyant market and dramatically expanded over the last few years. They have both acquired and set up companies under their name, and in turn are increasing their head count across the board.
Job description and key responsibilities
This Estimator role will sit within the Civil Engineering division, where you will assist and learn from a team of experienced Surveyors and Estimators. You will be liaising with clients and site staff daily (often on-site yourself), solving problems, and planning ahead for programmes. You will be involved in and exposed to; SOR’s, target costings, PQQ submissions, QTO’s, and final accounts.
Ideal Candidate description
Although a ‘Junior’ role, the ideal candidate will need experience as an Estimator within a construction environment. Knowledge of civils and structures is preferred but not essential. You will need to be confident, articulate, computer literate, and a team player. It is expected that you will have a construction related degree and have a client-focussed approach.
