Assistant Accountant, Victoria, 12 month contract, £28-32k

A professional services business based in Victoria has a vacancy for an Assistant Accountant in their established finance team of 4. The company comprises around 40 staff members and although is 'professional services' has a friendly 'family feel' to it. The business also assets that are intertwined with the hospitality industry.
Your new role
Your new role will report directly into the Head of Finance and will work in a team of 4. It is essential that you will have undertaken reconciliations for multiple accounts / companies and had exposure in a multi-entity / multi-subsidiary environment. Key duties could include:
- Preparation of accounts up trial balance for subsidiary companies
- Maintaining and updating the fixed assets ledger
- Bank reconciliation Dealing with cash-flow budgets
- Management of the sales and purchase ledgers & payments & staff expenses
- Dealing with auditors for the audit and helping with queries
- Posting suppliers invoices, processing payments and handling their queries
What you'll need to succeed
ACCA / CIMA studies underway would be a bonus. A 'can do' attitude and flexibility for a long term role should the contract be extended to a permanent one after the 12 months. You will need to have undertaken a similar role and have exposure in a smaller finance function (rather than a large corporate).
