Freelance Brick Work Assessor
Are you a qualified assessor from a Brick Work background?
Do you have the drive to empower learners and progress with a forward-thinking organisation?
As an Assessor, you will have the opportunity to deliver high quality training to learners within your own catchment area. Inspiring and motivating your learners, you will provide them with ongoing support to enable them to achieve their learning aims. You will plan innovative learning plans and track learners’ progress via an e-portfolio to ensure that awarding body requirements are met. Proactive and articulate, as an Assessor, you must have good planning and time-management skills.
To be considered, you must have:
- Assessor Award (TAQA, A1, D32/D33 etc)
- Level 3 Brick Work
Your tasks could include:
Planning and delivering vocational training programmes and workshops
Observing and assessing candidates in their workplace
Examining candidates' portfolios of evidence
Questioning candidates about how they would deal with non-standard situations
Providing feedback and offering advice if the standards are not met
Signing off the award when all the requirements have been met
Keeping records of candidates' progress
Attending meetings with other assessors
Working closely with training staff and candidates' managers
Work will be based around the South London Region
Competitive pay, paid per portfolio.
