** Experienced Credit Controller needed! **

A brilliant opportunity for an experienced transactional accounts professional to join a busy and expanding SME in the Leamington Spa area, effectively managing the credit control function.

Duties will typically involve:

* Opening new customer accounts
* Monitoring changes to credit limits and ratings
* Ensuring payments are made and overdue customers are chased
* Ensuring monthly targets are achieved
* Producing and using aged debtor reports and analysis
* Contacting customers prior to agreed payment dates to ensure no discrepancies or issues will prevent prompt payment
* Developing good relationships with Purchase Ledger colleagues
* Maintaining records
* Preparing reminders, statements, final demands and pre-legal communications
* Negotiating and agreeing payment plans
* Providing managers with regular updates on final demand status customers
* Liaise with the Operations Director over the suspensionof supplies
* Liaise with liquidators, debt collection agencies and solicitors
* Manage the sales ledger, including banking cheques, processing debit and credit card payments, bank reconciliations, allocating cash, pro forma invoices and credit notes
* Setting up new supplier accounts
* Reconciling supplier statements
* Expense claims
* Issuing and reconciling petty cash
* EC sales and intrastat submissions
* Other ad hoc duties and holiday cover

The successful candidate will already have good credit control experience and a working knowledge of Excel. Knowledge of Sage 200 would be an added advantage but is not essential.
