Senior Insight Analyst - UK Super brand!

We are also growing our Insight and Analytics team. This part of the business is highly respected and is helping to drive real value from what we do and the business decisions being made during this period of growth.
As a result, we are now looking to recruit a strong Insight Analyst to join our fast-paced, progressive and challenging environment with the remit to support and develop our central Customer Insight hub for RAC.
You will help to lead the strategic development of the customer database, influencing marketing decisions and shaping the strategy of the business, through specialised Insight and Analytics techniques.
You will also develop, plan, implement and measure Insight-led direct marketing campaigns on behalf of RAC Sales & Marketing across individual membership breakdown and insurance.
This role is part of an Insight/Analytics business that is held in high regards.
This will be a varied role but the successful candidate will take accountability for:
-Delivering best practice market, customer & operational insight service for RAC through database analytics, and primary & secondary research
-Developing and implementing an approach to campaign planning which measures media efficiency and effectiveness, channel utilisation, buyer behaviour,
campaign effectiveness and efficiency, and channel development activity
-Establishing performance reporting processes in support of all media and distribution environments
-Establishing great working relationships with external agencies/suppliers and with internal customers
-Creating and maintaining a production and workflow process which supports the development & implementation of marketing campaign
-Driving strategic change to improve RAC`s customer management capability e.g. best practice database marketing, NPS, segmentation & targeting/optimisation
Skills, Knowledge and qualifications
To be successful in securing this role, you will need to show the following experience:
-Deep experience of direct / database marketing and CRM, gained within a high-profile consumer services brand
-Extensive data mining skills; able to interrogate data and draw intelligence/insight to inform marketing decisions
-Good understanding of customer lifecycle management
-Deep experience of driving customer insight from a range of sources
-Proven expertise in using customer information effectively in a CRM context
-Experience of managing high profile commercial KPIs in high pressure environments
-Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders
-Experience of helping to lead a large team, with the ability to work in a diverse team
-Knowledge of Financial Services sector.
-Creative & analytic mind with a high degree of commercial acumen
-Experience of effective team and people management.
-Ability to deliver high quality results at pace in high pressure environments
-Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
We are also looking for strong modelling skills, so real experience of things like Python, R or SAS are highly sought after.

This role is based at our Bristol offices and offers a salary of £55,000 + company bonus + benefits. There is also free parking, on site coffee shop, onsite canteen, showers and changing rooms.
