Stock Options Manager
Hoping to speak with Experienced Stock Options Managers with a background working within the Social Housing. You will be working with one of the largest housing associations within southern England that have a well-established reputation as a successful business with social objectives. They provide housing of all different types to a variety of tenures including rented, leaseholders and sheltered accommodation,owning and managing in excess of 30,000 properties.
A new role has become available within the Asset Planning Team of the Group's Property, Maintenance and Investment Directorate. The post holder will manage the Scheme Overview Assessment process and undertake options appraisals for sub-optimum schemes. You will be responsible for the management and implementation of the Group's Strategy; acquisition and disposal of occupied stock, sundry disposal of vacant stock and to undertake scheme feasibility studies to assess the cost of improvements necessary to address needs of long term financial viability and sustainability. Develop and refine the Scheme Overview Assessment appraisal process and identify schemes that are assessed as having sub-optimal viability. Manage the review of identified poorly performing stock. Manage the disposal, marketing and sale of property within the Group's strategy and targets.
Knowledge and experience of undertaking options appraisals of residential properties
Knowledge and experience of property management, disposals and acquisitions
Knowledge of landlord and tenants and property law
Experience of managing budgets
Experience of managing external consultants/contractors
Knowledge and experience of acquisition and sale of properties within social housing
Experience of asset management in social housing
Knowledge of building construction and/or experience of legal processes
