Key Account Manager - Midlands Based with National Travel

Location: Midlands/ National Travel

Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 PLUS Benefits

Due to expansion within the teams and contractual wins, we are now hiring for a driven Key Account Manager who is able to develop and build relationships further to maximise business opportunities.

The Role

To maximise business opportunities with Levy clients across the UK, managing key accounts face to face and building strong and new relationships. You will need good business acumen, influencing negotiation skills and account management experience.

Skills & Experience

o Proven experience in working in a management role within an education establishment.

o Excellent track record of improving and maintaining performance

o Experience of apprenticeship programmes

o Experience of management of delivery to timely achievement of frameworks

o Good knowledge of change in landscape to include standards and levy

o Experience of stakeholder engagement

o Self-critical, with a view to always improve solutions and processes

o Ability to motivate others and challenge failing performance whilst establishing plans for improvement

o Creative - Ability to identify and articulate delivery solutions

o Ability to engage and network with others resulting in the sharing of best practice

o Proactive, highly motivated with an enthusiasm to meet client requirements

o Ability to multi task and work on a number of groups simultaneously

o Excellent communication skills, particularly listening

o Experience/understanding of Apprenticeships, Skills and Commercial training

o Successfully meeting and managing challenging deadlines

o Managing people resources

o Understanding skills gaps, shortages and workforce development solutions

o Service/solution design

o Presenting propositions/solutions

o Good level of IT skills including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint

o Manage, analyse and present MI data
