Job Title: EMEA Marketing Intern

Job summary: To provide all round general support to the North West Marketing Team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Events:

    • Assistance with coordination of events and trade shows, sales meetings and workshops with a focus on FocusConnect, our annual EMEA Conference attracting over 400+ delegates.

    • Looking after event registration and confirmation.

    • Assisting with event logistics

    • Organising appropriate collateral and making sure presentations are ready.

    • Ordering giveaways - shipping to various offices and tracking quantities.

  • Marketing Updates:

    • Working on pre and post show event emails using Marketo.

    • Creating and distributing the EMEA Marketing Newsletter across the region.

    • Keeping the marketing information board up to date.

    • Ensuring that Jnet (internal Marketing information site) is kept up to date.

  • Social Media:

    • Need to create updates and content for post, tweets and statuses across a range of social media channels.

    • Create Social Media plans for upcoming events.

    • Liaising with corporate team in the US

  • Admin:

    • Assistance with database marketing (

    • Database maintenance and updating - outbound calling and internet research to obtain correct contact data for specific accounts for hard copy mailings and non-delivered emails.

    • Generating reports and providing analysis.

    • Providing insights in order to improve and maximise results

    • Organising UK Marketing Cupboard.

  • Finance:

    • Help with raising purchase orders and invoicing.

    • Working alongside finance to make sure payments are made for events.

Skills Required:

  • Ability to work independently, creatively and analytically

  • Flexibility with the ability to adapt to change in a fast paced environment

  • Organisational and communication skills

  • Team player

  • Interest in marketing technology, systems and progress

  • Experience with CRM (preferably and Marketo)

  • Knowledge of, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Databases

  • Fluent in English - additional European languages are a plus

  • Minimum 2 years of study in Marketing/Business Administration/Information Technology

  • Duration 6-12 months
