Senior Digital Marketing Executive, AdTech, PR, Events, General Marketing, London

Senior Digital Marketing Executive required to work for a fast growing Digital Technology business based in Central London. We want someone who is managing a small team (or overseeing a small team) and is looking for that step up to Digital Marketing Manager in terms of title. Reporting to and working closely with the Head of Marketing you will manage the marketing team and day-to-day operations at the London office across PR, events, data stories, content and sales tools. Our client takes their brand and marketing really seriously and this new role comes at an exciting exciting time as they continue to grow and expand their global marketing and design teams.
As one of the primary brand guardians you will manage activity across all of the business’s marketing streams (Sales, Materials, PR, events, reactive, analytical and internal) supported by their PR and Creative agencies. Creativity, their Search Insights and commercial awareness is at heart of everything they do.

Role includes day-to-day management of 1 x marketing executive and 3 x designers. Further team expansion planned for the rest of the year.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·Project manage the marketing team to lead projects from conception to execution

·Build stand-out and thought provoking marketing collateral (both online and offline) to drive new product awareness, new targeting capabilities, creation of insights infographics or audience profiles

·Work closely with the the analytics department to deliver marketing trends, insights and white papers to power lead-generation and brand awareness activity

·Assist the Head of Marketing with managing PR activity and agency. This includes steering insight-led stories, thought leadership and speaking opportunities.

·Lead the company’s event and social activity across Mobile World Congress, Cannes and Dmexco and IAB events and ATS London & Paris

·Work on paid media strategy to support brand awareness and content activity

·With the sales team and Trade marketing executive, manage a calendar of agency workshops, sessions and branding activations across the media agency landscape

·Support global offices with internal marketing initiatives including Christmas trips abroad /internal awards

·Create a monthly report of how the effectiveness of marketing activity has helped drive new business, opportunities and awareness - evidence of adding to the bottom line.

Essential requirements

·At least 3 years experience in a marketing role in media or advertising (a must)

·Strong communication and grammar skills

·Strong knowledge of PR and media trade journalists

·Experience in project management

·Strong commercial awareness and knowledge of how marketing drives sales

·Desire to do marketing differently, building and maintaining a brand that stands out

·Great at planning and obsessive with detail

·Analytical mind and a passion for building stories through data

·Passionate about social media and content

·Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and other MS Office programmes

·Self- starter with the ability to work independently and prioritize with little oversight

Desirable

·Background in working with a creative agency

·Social media and blog experience

·Enjoys working in an exciting, busy and dynamic environment
