Due to continuing business success and growth our client now have a fantastic opportunity available for a IT Business Partner to join the team nationally. Working 37.5 Hours Per week.

What will I be responsible for?

The IT Business Partner will be responsible for establishing, managing and maintaining relationships with assigned business functions and operational sites and act as a trusted advisor to IT users across the business. Duties will also include:

• Develop excellent working relationships with their identified areas of the business and ensure that the specific IT requirements of each of their customers is clearly understood, documented and agreed.
• Offer advice on potential concepts and solutions which may be appropriate to meet identified needs and work with the wider IT team to ensure these concepts are developed to a high level Business Brief.
• Support customers in the development of business briefs required to support change and/or enhancement to their existing use of IT ensuring it delivers maximum value.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings as required to support information exchange/sharing of best practice.
• Ensure designated customers are fully engaged with and have a good level of understanding of IT issues and their likely impact on their operation.
• Undertake regular reviews with each customer to ensure our understanding of business needs and drivers remains current.
• Assist in business implementation, adoption and benefits realisation of newly delivered IT systems and enhancements.
• Represent the customers in terms of prioritisation of work identified for the the IT portfolio.
• Produce regular reports and briefing notes to ensure the Lead IT Business Partner has full visibility of the key issues and common trends and themes identified across the assigned customer base.
• Support the Lead IT Business Partner as requested to attend meetings, deliver presentations and support business wide IT workshops
• Manage designated minor projects or Service Improvement Programmes ensuring a successful delivery and transition to service in line with IT governance processes.
• Extensive travel may be required within the UK.

The ideal IT Business Partner:

• An excellent understanding of business partnering in an IT environment
• Exposure to technical environments and technical terminology
• Understand the cost of systems and ownership
• Previous experience of business engagement and business relationship management
• Experience of providing reports and managing business risks
• Educated to a degree level or equivalent
• Full UK driving licence or ease of national transportation

In return for your hard work, you can expect to receive a salary of £35,000 - £45,000 plus a range of benefits.
