The Digital Field Worker role will be to transform field operations technology and develop and implement mobile strategies. We are looking for someone who can articulate and clearly communicate the opportunities that new technologies can give clients. So, whether you are updating the Transmission and Distribution infrastructure through smart meter installations or optimising resources through improvements in safety and reduced costs- this could be the opportunity you are looking for!


You will be part of the Digital Field Worker (DFW) Techology Consulting Team - part of the Smart Grid Services practice. Delivering consultancy on new technologies to give Clients the ability to revolutionise how their field forces operate. This will include:

  • Digital Field Worker
  • Digital Field Workforce Management solutions
  • Enterprise Asset Management solutions
  • Mobile solutions
  • Field Force Analytics solutions
  • Connected worker technologies (e.g. wearables, augmented reality)
  • Dispatch and scheduling solutions for the Digital Field Worker
  • Implementation of process and target operating models for the DFW across Transmission and Distribution clients

Skills and Qualities:

  • Relevant consulting or business transformation experience in the Digital Field Worker area
  • Digital Field Workforce Management solutions (ideally ClickSchedule or TOA)
  • Enterprise Asset Management solutions (ideally SAP, Maximo or Oracle)
  • Mobile solutions (ideally Syclo and ClickMobile)
  • Field Force Analytics solutions
  • Ability to demonstrate operational content skills in utilities industry
  • Proven track record of leading / managing Digital Field Workforce projects successfully
  • Able to articulate and communicate complex issues / solutions in a simple and logical manner
  • Understand how business strategy shapes business and technology implementation programmes
  • Well-developed analytical skills and the ability to provide clarity to complex issues and synthesize large amounts of information
  • Possess the ability to influence using logical fact-based arguments and persuasive tactics
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
