FIX Onboarding Engineer required by my trading software client in London.

(FIX Client Onboarding On-boarding Customer Support Integration Client Services Trading Application UNIX SQL Fixed Income Bond Trading London)

You MUST have the following:

  • Current or recent experience integrating and onboarding clients on trading applications, working with API's
  • FIX connectivity- troubleshooting FIX logs to identify and resolve issues

The following is DESIRABLE, not essential:

  • Knowledge and understanding of Fixed Income, Equities or FX financial products
  • SQL
  • Experience working for a trading software company


Integration Engineer (FIX Onboarding/On-boarding Consultant) for our trading software client in London. You will join a team of three that is responsible for connecting new clients to the product once the sales team has completed the sale. This involves interacting with the sales team, technical and non-technical clients to understand and document any customization of the product, communicating that customisation to in-house and external developers, or understanding the client's technical environment and establishing the API's with the appropriate applications and feeds. Once the requirements are established, it is your responsibility to oversee the delivery of the solution. Where there are technical queries and FIX connectivity issues, you are required to trouble-shoot, resolve or escalate them. 25-30% of the role will be centred around release management of improvements and new functionality, with the remaining 70-75% of the role integrating and onboarding clients on the trading application. The hiring manager will hire candidates with production support experience but integration/on-boarding experience is essential. Technically, you must be familiar with FIX.

Within the first 6 months, you will spend four weeks of the role based in Boston, at their training center. When starting your role, you will be assigned up to 20 clients to build a relationship with and manage upgrades. In terms of the integration and onboarding, you will work on 2-4 implementations concurrently with each project taking up to 6 weeks.

The role will provide opportunities for growth and management as they expand and release new products. There will be the opportunity to progress into senior and management roles within the team, department and the business.

It is a friendly and relaxed environment. Hours are 9-6.

Salary: £60k - 75k + Pension + Family Dental and Medical Cover
