About the Role
The Digital Marketing Executive performs a vital operational role in our client's team. As an established and ambitious digital agency specialising in full-service digital marketing, the marketing team is the engine room of what they do. This is a key appointment within that team.
As a Digital Marketing Executive your primary role will be to deliver effective digital marketing strategies for designated B2B and B2C clients, working to achieve client objectives as part of a team alongside other marketing experts, designers and developers, under the guidance of an Account Manager and their Lead Marketer.
Although they don't expect their Executives to lead strategically, they will ask you to feed into, shape and execute the digital marketing strategy for their clients, which makes the role ideal for someone with existing experience looking for a step up. They can offer a great mix of interesting project, skills development and autonomy - you manage your workflow and are free to organise and execute your work in a way that makes sense to you.
This is, therefore, a challenging and exciting opportunity to gain experience in delivering cutting edge marketing strategies for a full spectrum of clients at an established and growing agency. It is a tough, middleweight role with opportunities to progress for effective, enthusiastic and smart people.
They are looking for someone with:
- Outstanding copywriting skills (experience of outreach and content marketing is a bonus) - this is particularly important for them in this appointment, ideally, they're looking for a marketer with a content specialism
- Excellent technical marketing skills, with an up-to-date understanding of techniques like SEO, PPC, CRO and social media marketing
- An ideas' person - someone who isn't scared to be creative and whom enjoys working collaboratively. Someone who can look at a brief and can come up with multiple ideas. Some will be genius, some will turn out to be duds, but it's all part of the process, right?
- A focus on ROI and empathy for our clients
- Enthusiasm about emerging technologies, tools and methodologies
- A great attitude
- A wide range of digital marketing experience, preferably (but not necessarily) agency-side
