ROLE: Internal Sales Administrator

LOCATION: Great Yarmouth, Norfolk

PACKAGE: Up to £25k basic + company bonus + benefits

REPORTING TO: Internal Sales Team Leader + Sales Manager

My client is a market-leading manufacturer and supplier of
environmental protection and safety products for fluid transfer
operations within the Oil and Gas industry. Their world class products
have become an industry standard with a reputation for quality and
reliability.

These are exciting times and as part of their ambitious growth plan;
they are looking to appoint an Internal Sales Administrator. Sales
experience in engineering, industrial capital equipment or the Oil &
Gas sector would be an advantage, as would an engineering background
and/or qualification.

PURPOSE OF JOB: Respond to customer queries, generate customer quotes,
win business and provide general support to the existing sales team.

MAIN DUTIES:

* Responsible for preparing quotations, and responding to customer
queries on refurbishments. Maintain the refurbishment prospect
list and ensure all quotations are followed up as necessary. Chair
weekly prospect meetings.

* Assist in preparing quotations for customer products and
ancillaries.

* When Regional Sales Managers are travelling in countries where the
internet connection is inefficient, you will be required to
support them by generating quotations for client products and
ensure they are kept informed of any developments relevant to
their area.

* You will be required to prepare order history packs and to input
the information accurately on the ERP system for all orders.

* You will be required to maintain and update customer and product
records in the CRM system.

* Following completion of the induction period, when receiving
customer enquiries you will be expected to assess customer needs
and offer appropriate solutions.

* You will also be expected to ensure any customer non-technical
queries, issues and complaints you receive reach a successful and
appropriate conclusion.

* You will be required to liaise between other internal departments
and customers to efficiently answer general enquiries concerning
lead times, special requests etc.

* You will also be required to regularly update the Order record in
Excel.

* Attend training to develop knowledge, techniques and skills.

* Effectively prioritise on a daily basis to ensure that targets and
deadlines are achieved.

* To meet business targets whilst maintaining accuracy and
professionalism

Qualifications

* Degree / HND Mechanical Engineering Qualification - ideal

* GCSE (or equivalent) A-C in English and Maths

* Telesales/Sales Experience

* Admin/Data Entry Experience

Competencies

Knowledge of CRM system

Experience within the Oil & Gas industry - ideal

Minimum of 2 Years Proven Sales Track Record

Proficient Use of Microsoft Office Suite

An understanding of, and commitments to the aims and objectives of the

Willingness to undertake training required for both professional &
