Hours: 25 – 37.5 hours p/week

Based: Macclesfield, Cheshire

East Cheshire Hospice is an important community organisation, committed to providing care

for those with life limiting illnesses and their families in the East Cheshire Area.

We are looking for a confident Payroll Officer to support the Finance Director in providing an effective and efficient payroll function and all associated payroll administration.

You will be IT literate with specific experience of working with computer systems such as Sage Payroll in addition to Excel Spreadsheets in order to coordinate, review, and balance the monthly payroll. You will need to be able to collect, calculate and validate payroll inputs; allowance and shift payments, deductions and any additional pay items. You should have experience of interacting with outside payroll agencies and working knowledge of taxation.

The successful applicant will need to ensure that tax, NI and pension payments are made within the legal monthly time limits.
