SEN Teaching Assistant
Part Time Learning Support Assistant
Monday - Friday 08:30-12:00 term time only
We have a fantastic opportunity to work with a unique provision which supports students overcome barriers to learning. As these children are unable to access mainstream education you will be working with different students with a variety of medical needs. You will be working with adapted schemes of work to help provide engaging and fun lessons whilst achieving educational outcomes.
This is great role for someone with previous experience of working with students with SEND, who is looking to develop within this field and gain experience in a unique and well supported environment. The provision has been rated 'outstanding' by OFSTED and you will be working alongside skilled and dedicated professionals. You will be given the opportunity to adapt lessons and utilise creative ideas during sessions such as Drama, storytelling, songs and music.
The role is to start in September and we will ideally appoint for the role before the end of the academic year in July. This is likely to become a permanent role for the right person.
