UK Academy Lead, Global Functions
A leading Global Financial Institution is seeking to employ a UK Academy Lead, Global Functions, based in Birmingham
Hours 35 per week/permanent.

The role holder will contribute to and drive the learning agenda by working with the Global Academy Head, Regional Academy Leads, local Heads of Development and other key HR stakeholders to establish the learning requirements for Business Lines and Functions and contribute to setting the Academy strategy. They will collaborate with local Solution Centre teams, external vendors and regional learning teams to support the strategy behind the design, testing, and customisation of the Academy solutions. The individual will propose to the Design Authority (governing body) customisation and local design requirements, ensuring policy, standards and execution principles are adhered to. They will also prioritise the implementation of Monitor Commitments and ensure the Financial Crime Learning is strictly managed in accordance with Group-wide policy. The role holder will ensure compliance with regulatory and bank policies, monitoring audit and risk management reports and initiating corrective actions where necessary. The role holder will also monitor external vendor delivery quality and manage any issues through appropriate vendor governance channels.
The successful candidate will be a graduate and will have the following:
- Experience of creating and deploying comprehensive business operating plans which consistently deliver desired results.
- A comprehensive understanding of the regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements associated with financial services.
- Extensive experience and track-record relating to learning delivery.
