Your New Role
As a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant you will be working either on a 1:1 basis or with small groups of pupils who have Special Needs and associated challenging behaviour. Your main responsibility will be managing behaviour within the classroom and working closely with the other members of staff ensuring the pupils you support are consistently working to positive outcomes.
What You Need to Succeed
You will be a confident and motivated individual with a passion for working with pupils with special needs and/or challenging behaviour. A team teach qualification is desirable but not essential.
