Qualified Management Accountant required for an excellent opportunity in Grimsby with a long established and well known employer who recruit rarely at this level. Candidates need to take responsibility for the preparation of both management and financial accounts and supervise a small team.

THE ROLE

- Supervising a small team, the management accountant will take responsibility for the production of VAT returns, tax computations, accounts and management reports and the maintenance of internal control and accounting systems
- Supervise the preparation of the financial accounts, take responsibility for the budget, provide regular financial reporting and assist with company secretarial duties
- This is a very varied, full role and will have appeal to a qualified accountant who really likes to delve into the detail, work with a great team and in a professional environment

THE CANDIDATE

- You will be a ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant and maybe already working in commerce/industry or perhaps looking to branch out from professional practice.
- Be looking for a varied, busy role where attention to detail and working closely with colleagues and team members is vital as is a positive, cheerful approach.
- You are capable of working to deadlines, sometimes under pressure but always with accuracy and sound preparation
- You will have excellent investigative and analytical skills, being able to communicate effectively at all levels and form strong working relationships.

THE BENEFITS:

- £30,000 - £35,000 depending on background, experience and level of qualification + pension + generous holiday entitlement + free parking
