Natasha Young is recruiting for a Project Controls Planner to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in Macclesfield. This is a contract opportunity to join a company with a broad range of human healthcare products for an initial duration of twelve months and a daily rate dependant upon experience.

The Project Controls Planner responsibilities will include:
· Ensuring implementation of planning & scheduling activities for a given project, programme or portfolio of activity
· Developing and implementing an integrated planning / scheduling approach for the programme and the capital project, leveraging all work stream leads taking into account the programme and team structure and capability. Ensuring accurate schedules are prepared per programme requirements
· Developing the resource requirements with respect to planning and scheduling including the roles and responsibilities between the programme and project work streams to ensure the interfaces are understood by all members
· Defining how all the various schedules in the programme will be coordinated and interfaced i.e. full integrated programme schedule or defined milestones to provide rolled up programme schedule including baseline schedules, incorporation of standard milestones, etc.
· Developing accurate programme high-level and detailed programme cash-flow forecasts to support quarterly and annual budgeting process as well as monthly reporting.
· Supporting the implementation of an integrated change management programs and procedures for applying to cost and schedule analysis and projections for the programme.
· Ensuring that all programme planning, scheduling, progress / schedule control, and related activities comply with corporate capital governance requirements and internal procedures / guidelines.

As Project Controls Planner you will have the following skills and experience:
· Degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering or equivalent working experience
· Certification in Project Control/Cost Engineering or Project Management is a plus.
· Demonstrated expertise and experience in major scheduling software including Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, etc
· Can support regular business travel in range of 50%, with potentially higher peaks
· Fundamental knowledge in Bio-Pharma project planning/scheduling
· Hands-on experience with cost and schedule risk analysis
