  • Accounts Assistant / Ledger Clerk
  • Temporary ongoing
  • Full time (0830-1700 1 hour lunch)
  • Nantwich
  • £8.20 - £9.50 p/hour


Would you like to work in an established business with an enviable market share and position? on an ongoing temporary basis this position is covering sickness and there is scope for this to be extended, or even for the role to develop to a permanent position based on the needs of the business. Due to the size of the business there are opportunities within the business.

The Job

Working closely alongside the finance lead, this position will predominantly be responsible for assisting with ledger processes. You will be responsible for working with the purchase ledger, matching batching and coding invoices, updating systems and ensuring that processes are following. In addition to this, you will be responsible for ensuring that charges on the Sales Ledger are calculated correctly. As the role develops the potential for involvement with credit control will also present itself. Additionally you will be responsible for assisting with month end procedures and will be confident speaking to suppliers and colleagues.

The Fit

Working within accounts you will have a high degree of accuracy and will be able to effectively juggle tasks. Working with SAP (experience not necessary), you will have exceptional communication skills and will be confident in your ability.
