The delivery of an efficient and effective ICT Service is critical to this council delivering efficient and effective services.

A unique opportunity has arisen for an ICT Service Delivery Client Advisor at the council to help shape the future delivery of ICT for the Council.

In this role the successful candidate will support the Head of Customer and Cultural Services and ICT Service Delivery Client Manager to enable the delivery of high quality services at the lowest possible net cost.

Duties will include: -
- Use extensive knowledge and experience of the council's corporate ICT systems to develop an implementation plan with timescales, resource requirements and costs to ensure that the Council maximises the value of its corporate systems, in terms of their use and rationalisation of other systems
- Provide expert advice to enable the council to make better use of its data
- Provide a significant contribution to the development of a model for the future provision of efficient and effective ICT for the council to enable the delivery of high quality services at the lowest possible net cost
- Provide expert advice to the review of the council's ICT Strategy and ensure that the ICT service delivery plans are aligned to the ICT Strategy
- Provide expert advice to the development of new and innovative ICT service solutions that make the most cost effective use of the council's resources with a focus on achieving ongoing cost savings and operational efficiencies
