The delivery of an efficient and effective ICT Service is critical to this Council delivering efficient and effective services.

A unique opportunity has arisen for an ICT Service Delivery Client Manager at the Council to help shape the future delivery of ICT for the council.

This an opportunity to recommend a model for the future provision of efficient and effective ICT for the council and manage, on behalf of the council, the delivery of the council's ICT service, in line with the adopted model.

In this role the successful candidate will support the Head of Customer and Cultural Services to enable the delivery of high quality services at the lowest possible net cost.

Duties will include: -
- Analyse the current provision of ICT to the council and recommend a model for the future provision of efficient and effective ICT for the council
- Manage, on behalf of the council, the delivery of the council's ICT service, in line with the adopted model for the future provision of ICT, to enable the delivery of high quality services at the lowest possible net cost
- Ensure that the council's ICT Strategy is reviewed appropriately and that the ICT service delivery plans are aligned to the ICT Strategy
- Ensure the stability, integrity and availability of ICT services to the levels required by the council and its partners who use the council's ICT services
- Develop new and innovative ICT service solutions that make the most cost effective use of the council's resources with a focus on achieving ongoing cost savings and operational efficiencies
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the council and its partners to better understand business needs and ensure that the council's ICT service is not compromised in meeting these needs
- Undertake business relationship management and service level reporting for the ICT service to manage and improve end-user satisfaction levels with the council's ICT service
