We are currently working exclusively on behalf of a fast-paced business that supplies and distributes a range of products, who are seeking an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join their friendly, busy finance team for a minimum 1 year contract.
The successful candidate will develop to do a very varied role and be a real team player, so a passion to learn and work hard is key as well as being a real team player .
As accounts assistant, your tasks will include:
- Sales ledger invoicing
- Purchase invoicing
- Statements reconciliations
- Credit control
- Bank reconciliation
- Daily banking and cashbook
- Cash allocation
- Petty cash
The ideal candidate will have some foundations of prior experience working within a fast-paced accounts department preferably in an all-round accounts assistant role using Sage. You must be able to work in an organised and professional manner and have excellent interpersonal skills. You will be seeking a role that you can grow in and be eager to learn all aspects of an accounting function.
