Infrastructure Support Engineer (Citrix Xenapp)

A market leading financial services company is looking for an Infrastructure Support Engineer to provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support to around 100 end users whilst also administering and maintaining the Citrix Xenapp infrastructure.

**Needless to say you must have experience of supporting Citix Xenapp systems.**

Likewise you'll be very familiar with Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP and NTFS security.

The role holder will also help with all queries whilst maintaining backup systems, telephony equipment and PC hardware. Travel to other offices and out of hours work may occasionally be required.

This Windows Systems Administrator role is paying up to £35,000 plus fantastic benefits including 25 days holiday as well as a bonus and is based in Central London.

Other responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

*Administering Windows Server 2008 R2, Active Directory and messaging systems including *Microsoft Exchange 2010 and Blackberry Enterprise Server.
*Updating and maintaining incidents, problems & changes within the service management toolset.
*Perform root cause analysis to increase system availability, submit requests for change as required.
*Administration of the Messaging, Mobility and Backup platforms and tools, including MS Exchange, BES and BackupExec.
*Maintaining and administering the Windows Server 2008 R2 Active Directory using best practices.
*Out of hours working may be required occasionally.

Ideal candidates for the role will have:

*Demonstrable experience in performing root cause analysis.
*Experience of providing 1st - 3rd line support to internal users following ITIL best practice.
*Very good knowledge of Windows XP upwards and the MS Office suite.
*Knowledge of BlackBerry Enterprise Server, Backup Exec 2010, Active Directory, DNS.
*MCSA/MCSE qualifications
