Software Implementation Consultant

The Software Implementation Consultant is a key member of the implementation & support team, responsible for planning & executing the set-up and training of our Management and Warehousing software.This is a full-time position reporting to the Project Manager based at our offices in Coalville, Leicestershire.

Key Responsibilites

·Master the capabilities of the system, keeping up to date with constant changes, new features and modules.

·Work with the customer to implement and configure our Solutions Software at client sites while adhering to the project management model for smooth delivery of a standard implementation.

·Develop training materials and deliver end user training at customer sites across the UK and Ireland.

·Advise customers on how to most effectively use the solution including where possible, modifying customers' existing processes, procedures, work-flow, forms and reports.

·Create using Crystal Reports, documentation required by the customer utilising the current reports library as a starting point.

·Liaising with the Project Manager during Implementation Projects, especially where resources of other departments are required.

·Handling customer support requests as required post Go Live.

Person Specification

·Experience of working within a logistics / distribution environment desirable but not essential.

·Proven ability to plan, prioritise, organise and deliver effective training sessions to both a non-technical and technical audience.

·Able to work productively with minimal supervision.

·Able to quickly build rapport and confidence with clients.

·Technical aptitude:High proficiency with SQL 2008 or higher, web-based systems, handheld devices Windows Mobile and Android, Crystal Reports V8 or higher, MS office.

·Communication skills:Must be able to communicate at all levels within any organization; excellent written communication, verbal communication, active listening and presentation skills.

·Whilst the role is full-time Mon-Friday 9.00am – 5.30pm at head office, travel to client premises will be ongoing as required, along with some overnight stays.

·Full Driving Licence.
